Community Engagement
Community Commitment
Radford Studio Center has a proud tradition of hosting community events and looks forward to being a central partner to schools, organizations, and neighbors. For many decades, we’ve been honored to engage, support, and partner with a wonderfully diverse group of organizations that are the fabric of the local community. Meanwhile, we’ve been honored to host galas, tours, and many on-the-lot events while also supporting community clean ups, movie nights, and the Studio City Farmers Market. We are excited to continue being a good neighbor and supporting our vibrant community.
Community Galas
Each year, we are proud to host local schools such as Carpenter Community Charter School, and organizations like the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce, for their annual galas.
Community Meetings
We take our role as a trusted community partner seriously and aim to be as informative as possible about the Radford Studio Center Plan. We’ve hosted hundreds of neighbors to detail our proposal and will continue working directly with neighbors to modernize the studio.
Movie Nights
We’ve been honored to support the Studio City Neighborhood Council when they host their movie nights.
Community Cleanup
We partnered with local nonprofit organization Better Angels to beautify Studio City. Our team volunteered with Better Angels to pick up trash along the L.A. River and throughout the area.
Farmers Market
While we provided free parking to neighbors for the Studio City Farmers Market, we also gave out goodies and informed neighbors about the project for this weekly Sunday event, which is sponsored by the Studio City Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Studio City Residents Association.
Studio Tours
We are excited to open our home away from home for the community. In 2023, we hosted dozens of tours for hundreds of neighbors to showcase sets, stages and the historical roots of Radford. Sign up for a tour today!

As part of our Changing Lenses project, we were proud to support two CSUN Senior Thesis Films “Nerot Shel Shabbat” and “Livin’ Modest,” which recently debuted on the big screen at our Radford studio.

Studio City
We are proud to be the stewards of a beloved Studio City institution. Spotlight Studio City redoubles our ongoing partnership with the community around us. Through this initiative, Radford Studio Center partners with local organizations and stakeholders to support our neighborhood and ensure the studio continues to be a beacon of the San Fernando Valley.
Changing Lenses
Changing Lenses is an initiative to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in the entertainment industry by providing historically underrepresented communities with mentorship opportunities and job training programs in below-the-line production jobs.
The Radford Studio Center Plan will modernize the studio to ensure it continues to thrive by supporting new content creators, more jobs, a greener and more sustainable site, and community partnerships that uplift the local economy and improve the quality of life in Studio City.
